Can you imagine that suddenly, a bomb or a missile would explode on the roof of your house and everything fall over you? Imagine there is no electricity, no food, with the sounds and strikes of missiles, day and night, everyday.. Just look at Gaza. The “Killing Zone”. As far as I’m concern, almost every day, Israeli troops leave their base in Rafah to bulldoze Palestinian houses before. “They” say that the houses need to be destroyed to deny the terrorists training activities. Have they found them?? Thousands have lost their homes just like that.
For those who try and stop the violence can end up paying with their lives. No matter what color, religion, or race they are. Rachel Corrie was one of them. For your info, Rachel Corie is an American activist who traveled to the Gaza Strip during the second Palestinian Intifada. She brought the Palestinians plight to the world’s attention when she died, crushed by an Israeli bulldozer while trying to protect a building! The IDF(Israel Defense Forces) maintain that she died because of her own irresponsible and illegal behaviour. But eye witnesses tell a different story. (You can find some info here.) Yes, “they” would never let we know what’s really happening. They will cover everything! They use media to conquer our mind!

I learned some valuable lessons. WAR is a big CRIME! We must find what is the root cause of it. We should not ignore any truth and yes, to find true light and true peace, we must see the opposite as well. I think, everyone..me, you, man, women, all people of all faiths and all races, “must” find a way to embrace each other’s differences, and search for a compromise. Patience and acceptance of others is what will stop war. Understanding will stop war. Education will stop war. Humility will stop war. Peace is the thing synonyme with the absence of war! Everyone must play a role in world peace. Let’s learn from our good experiences and from our mistakes. And I believe that peace is there inside each and every human being. Maybe I’m just too naive, but we should at least give peace a try.
