How To Change ‘Blogger’ Favicon

A Favicon or “favorites icon” is an icon that associated with a particular website, and typically displayed in the address bar of a browser viewing the site. Using a Favicon is another way of branding your website/blog and establishing your sites/blogs identity. Adding your newly generated Favicon to your Blogger blog is quite simple. If you want to change it, follow this steps:

- First you need 16×16 icon. You can “Google” for an icon or you can create one at this site. The images have to be “hosted” somewhere. (flickr,imageshack or etc)

- Then go to your dashboard, click layout and edit HTML. Don’t forget to tick the ‘Expand Widgets Templates’ box.

*Before you start editing, always remember to make a backup of your template as a precautionary measure.

- Now copy the code below and paste it just before the </HEAD> tag.

- Final step, save your template. Then you will see the changes of your favicon like the picture below.
